Timothy Godfrey, PA-C

Timothy Godfrey is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity. Timothy is originally from Northern New Jersey and has spent his life living throughout the tri-state area. Before pursuing his desire to become Physician Assistant, Timothy obtained his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut (2015) where he perfected his skills evaluating and treating Division 1 athletes’ many orthopedic injuries. He then obtained his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University, Brooklyn New York (2019). Timothy started his career as a Physician Assistant in a Neurological ICU in New York City where he gained a detailed understanding of the way that the brain and body interact. Timothy aims to bring the holistic approach he learned in the ICU everywhere he goes. He is passionate about serving the community and enjoys helping the patients of New York Hand Surgery get the best treatment possible.

With his focus now on orthopedics working alongside Dr. Vipul Patel, he is evaluating and treating conditions consistent with acute to chronic conditions of the hand and upper extremity ranging from sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, tendon and nerve lacerations, arthritis, tumors, compression syndromes (cubital tunnel, carpal tunnel), cysts, infections, elbow and shoulder bursitis.

In his free time Timothy has many interests ranging from long walks with his dog Brandi, biking through the streets of Brooklyn to find a new restaurant, to perfecting the art of fermenting wines.
